Trends and innovations premiered at Internorga
Internorga is a catalyst for worldwide trends and creative product innovations. It presents national and international exhibitors, a wide range of special formats, and an amazing conference programme. A popular highlight in the past few years has been the Newcomers Area. More than 20 ambitious start-ups in the out-of-home market present new, unusual products in a compact space that is packed with inspiration.

Interest in vegan and vegetarian food is still growing, and this trend is reflected at Internorga 2019. The successful cooperation started in 2018 with ProVeg Deutschland e.V. continues in 2019. ProVeg is an expert partner, and advises interested visitors on veggie subjects.
Industry meeting point with vital insights – the Internorga Conferences
The event has exhibitor diversity, the spirit of innovation and first-class conferences in its DNA. The International Foodservice Forum attracts more than 2,000 participants, making it Europe’s biggest symposium for the out-of-home market. The German Catering Congress and the Forum School Catering are important and useful expert platforms for the industry. There will also be a special Master Class for the first time at Internorga 2019, covering international growth and franchising, and giving interested trade visitors useful tips from international experts.
Commitment for young talents in the industry
The innovative Internorga competitions have become an essential part of the show within just a few years, especially the Next Chef Award with celebrity chef Johann Lafer – it is a major contest for young talents, giving aspiring chefs a springboard to career success. Another prominent competition is the German Gastro Start-up Award, run by Internorga in cooperation with the Leaders Club Germany and orderbird. This format honours pioneering food service concepts.
Another highlight is the presentation of the Internorga Future Award – this competition will be held for the ninth time in 2019, with ceremonial presentation to companies which generate new impulses for the industry with their innovative products and ideas.
