Johann Lafer has even created an own dessert extra for the Chio Aachen: The “Cavaletti Lavazza”. The visitors can watch the star chef preparing it, because like Harald Wohlfahrt he will be present on-site during the CHIO Aachen.
Whilst Wohlfahrt will cook for the selected evening events in the “Champions’ Circle”, the “Lavazza meets Lafer” tent is located in the public area. Lavazza has been the exclusive coffee supplier of the World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen since 2016.
In addition to the four Tennis Grand Slam events, the Italian brand thus supports a further international major event.
“The CHIO is one of the highlights in the year for us, where we can once again present Lavazza in environments that are on a par with our brand values and reach our demanding audience directly,” said Dr. Oliver Knop, CEO of Luigi Lavazza Deutschland GmbH.
Lavazza is also a partner of the “CHIO Aachen Media Night” as well as lending its name to the “Lavazza-Cup”, the spectacular floodlit competition on Saturday evening (July 21st, 2018).
Founded in 1895, Lavazza is indeed three years older than the organising company of the CHIO Aachen, the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein.
“A great tradition, bringing people together, a high quality demand, implementing innovations, an international alignment – all of these are values and claims that we share with Lavazza,” commented Michael Mronz, General Manager of the Aachener Reitturnier GmbH. Incidentally, he has already tried the “Cavaletti Lavazza”, and “it won’t be the last one either.”
