On Sunday 15th July, PT Toffin Indonesia is opening its new headquarters with a big showroom dedicated to Victoria Arduino coffee machines. PT Toffin is the market leader of coffee machines in Indonesia, making a strong contribution to the growth of the specialty coffee industry.
Thanks to the strong relationship with Simonelli Group, PT Toffin decided to invest in promoting the historical brand of coffee machines with a one-floor exhibition.
A new four-story building
The new four-story building in Jalan Pluit Permai. 4, North Jakarta employs 50 people and has a vast showroom of 1,800 square meters.
The exhibition features the entire Victoria Arduino collection, from the iconic machines with unmistakable style to those with the most innovative technology.
The official machine of the Wbc
Among these is the VA388 Black Eagle, the brand’s flagship, that is the official coffee machine of the World Barista Championship in Amsterdam this June and for the next two years.
The large showroom also houses a training center from the bean to the cup, including coffee history, selection, roasting and extraction. In the training center the courses will cover barista skills, selection and maintenance of coffee machines, as well as professional certifications.
This showroom also aims at becoming a business development center to help current and future entrepreneurs building up or creating a coffee shop.
Former barista champion to present Mythos 2
At the inaugural ceremony there will be Sandiaga Uno, the Deputy Governor of Jakarta, Vittorio Sandalli, the Italian Ambassador to Indonesia, Alessandro Liberatori, the Director of ICE Jakarta and Michela Magrì, the Director of the Italian Institute of Culture.
To welcome guests and greet speakers there will be Fabio Ceccarani, the CEO of Simonelli Group and Tony Arifin, the CEO of Toffin Indonesia.
At the inauguration ceremony, Dale Harris, the 2017 World Barista Champion, will present Mythos 2, the advanced coffee grinder by Victoria Arduino, an inseparable work companion for every barista.
