MILAN, Italy – TuttoFood is preparing the menu for its seventh edition, which will take place at fieramilano from 6 to 9 May 2019, adding new ingredients to a recipe that will be as successful as ever.

From Milano Food City 2018 to TuttoFood 2019: the number of alliances is on the rise

The new partnership with the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi will make its debut during the event. The foundation will provide its expertise in healthy nutrition with a series of activities addressed especially to children of primary and secondary schools and their families.

DVG De Vecchi

Palazzo Giureconsulti will be the venue where these activities will take place, such as the interactive exhibition, Io Vivo Sano (I live healthy), where science popularisers will teach us how to make healthy grocery shopping, which food is healthy, and the relationship between food and DNA, and two workshops: Bimbi in Cucina (Children in the kitchen) and Mamme in Classe (Mothers in the classroom).

Four moments curated by Marco Bianchi – science populariser of the Fondazione Umberto Veronesi– in which children can experience the kitchen and parents can learn healthy lifestyles from Elena Dogliotti, Biologist Nutritionist.

La Cimbali

Other events, such as Prima Colazione (breakfast) – for the general public – and Sano Aperitivo (Healthy Aperitivo) – a round table for nutrition experts – will be an opportunity to talk about how nutrition can be healthy and tasty and the same time.

A programme that will be in line with the 2017 edition, as TuttoFood will focus, once again, on nutrition culture for the development of a sustainable yet profitable agrifood sector.

The Retail Plaza will be back at Milano Food City with a new look. After the successful experience at TuttoFood 2017, the innovative retail arena will be back with a new and more articulated formula, which opens up to Italian and international exhibition and retail markets. Partners of the event will be Nielsen, Carrefour, Coop, Gruppo Végé and Unes with Il Viaggiator Goloso.

The new 2018-2019 project will be divided into workshops, conferences, in-store events, and round tables, and will be also addressed to consumers and operators of the business community.

A business platform and an unbeatable trendsetter

Fiera Milano and TuttoFood have also extended to 2021 the alliance with Netcomm, who, in 2019, will organise the eCommerce Food Lab, i.e., events and workshops dedicated to innovation 4.0 at the service of the agrofood business.

TuttoFood confirms and strengthens its role of trendsetter – from the “new” natural, to functional food, novel food, and agrifood 4.0 – to reclaim local identities and traditions. A must-attend event for international professionals.

Besides organic food and healthy trends, I expect to see at TuttoFood 2019 even more niche and gourmet products – said Robert D’Amato, General Manager of Casa Italia Gourmet Food & Wines (Australia) –.  Thanks to its location in Milan, TuttoFood is a unique event in Italy and I won’t miss it for sure next year”.

Innovative segments are on the rise also in the Middle East.  We are moving towards “free-from” and frozen food – added Bechara Saliba, General Manager of Dal Mare Group (Lebanon) –.  We will come to TuttoFood 2019 to find quality dairy products, fruit, vegetables, and seafood”.

But there’s still room for more news! The 2019 edition will have a more effective and engaging layout. Italian and international exhibitors will grow together, as they will showcase their authentic top-quality products in two new areas, TuttoRegional and TuttoWorld.

TuttoDrink, TuttoSeafood, TuttoFrozen, TuttoPasta, TuttoBakery, TuttoGreen will place other food sectors under the spotlight. The focus will be mainly on the authenticity and protection of brands and designation of origin.

One year still to go and about 500 exhibitors have already confirmed their presence, 10% of which are international. TuttoFood continues to focus on international markets, such as USA, Eastern Europe, Mediterranean Area and Middle East, Iran, South America, Far East and South-West Asia, and South Africa.

The most dynamic sectors are TuttoGrocery, TuttoSweet and TuttoDiary.

The seventh edition of TuttoFood will take place at fieramilano from 6 to 9 May 2019.  For more information: www.tuttofood.it, @TuttoFoodMilano.
