EMMERICH, Germany – Last Friday, PROBAT honored 31 colleagues for their outstanding commitment during a ceremony at the Technical Centre at the company’s headquarters. Among them were 21 employees celebrating 25, 40 or even 50 years of service, as well as 11 retirees. The honorees marked this special occasion together with their superiors, while the Executive Board and the Works Council joined to pay tribute to their achievements.
For many years, the official recognition of long-serving employees and those approaching retirement has been an integral part of PROBAT’s Christmas tradition.
This special day is highly valued within the company and remains a fixed date in the calendar of CEO Wim Abbing. For Works Council Chairman Christoph Derksen, the event is also a highlight that demonstrates the company’s deep appreciation for its people.
A truly remarkable moment this year: Among the 11 retirees, Hilmar Nehrkorn was honored for an extraordinary 61 years of service. The other ten colleagues also look back on decades of commitment to PROBAT.
For Wim Abbing, this once again confirms what makes PROBAT unique: “It is the people and their special bond that make our company so successful. Today, we have come together to honor colleagues who have contributed to PROBAT’s leading market position with their dedication, reliability, and ideas. We are deeply grateful for the time they have spent with us and for us.”
Works Council Chairman Christoph Derksen expressed his gratitude on behalf of all PROBAT employees to the guests of honor for their commitment and team spirit, and addressed personal words especially to the retirees: “We will miss those whose journey with us now comes to an end, particularly their personalities that have enriched us for many years. We wish you all the best for this new chapter in life and plenty of time for everything that may have been left behind during your active professional career.”
