EMMERICH, Germany – Probat is setting entrepreneurial standards and has once again convinced the panel of experts and the jury of the Best Managed Companies Award in all core areas of the renowned competition. With its fourth successful participation in a row, the world market and technology leader in the food processing industry has achieved gold status in the international seal of approval for exemplary corporate thinking and action.

Strategy, productivity & innovation, corporate culture and governance & finance: the detailed analysis and identification of Probat’s strengths, potentials, and challenges in these four value- driving areas of corporate management once again formed the basis for this year’s multi-stage assessment process for the Best Managed Companies Award.

A top-class panel of experts from business, science and the media accompanied the coaching and selection process. Gold status for Probat: In the end, the jury awarded Probat the “Best Managed Companies” seal of approval for the fourth time in a row, bestowing the company with gold status for outstanding corporate management.

This year, Probat received the coveted Best Managed Company award in particular for its sustainability efforts, which contribute to an ecologically compatible, socially just and economically efficient global society.

In recent years, Probat has strategically prioritized sustainability issues and analyzed the impact of the company’s activities on interest groups and stakeholders. The results – as well as the other long-term goals – are now also presented in a sustainability report, which Probat is publishing for the first time for the reporting period 2022.

The Best Managed Companies program is a competition and seal of approval for successful medium-sized companies. The vision is to create a national and global ecosystem of excellently managed SMEs. The Best Managed Companies Award is presented by Deloitte, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and UBS in cooperation with the Federation of German Industries.

The official Best Managed Companies Award ceremony took place on May 23 at the Gesellschaftshaus Palmengarten in Frankfurt am Main, attended by the organizers, award winners and other invited guests.
