MILAN – Scheduled for 20 January, a training event that lifts the lid on plantations and sustainability, promoted by MUMAC Coffee Academy and Faema in collaboration with Specialty Pal. With special guests Emanuele Bernabei, coffee manufacturer of Picapau Coffee Roastery, and Giorgio Piracci, Founder & Coffee Producer at The Seven Elements – Permaculture Specialty Coffee, a virtual journey which begins in the plantations, examining how they can influence coffee quality, and goes right through to the roasting process.

A chance for baristas, coffee industry professionals and coffee lovers to find out more about the concept of quality coffee, learning about the reality of the plantations, how they are organised, and the factors that influence the growth of the plant and the development of the coffee cherry. We will examine a whole range of issues from sustainability and permaculture right through to roasting.

The virtual event by MUMAC Coffee Academy and Faema will be taking place on Microsoft Teams at 4 p.m. on 20 January.

This activity forms part of a series of events that MUMAC Coffee Academy and Faema are organising in collaboration with Specialty Pal, coffee influencers and promoters of quality coffee.

The workshop is free with a limited number of places available.
