Caffè Trucillo appoints Francesco Giordano as its new General Manager

SALERNO, Italy – Caffè Trucillo has appointed Francesco Giordano as General Manager. The roasting company from Salerno, (Italy) fully owned by the Trucillo family for three generations, has a presence in about 2000 outlets in Italy and is distributed in 40 countries, where it exports 60% of its production.

Born in Salerno, Francesco Giordano has over twenty years of experience in international markets, with a deep knowledge of the U.S., where he has also lived for ten years between Philadelphia and Chicago.

In his career he has held top management positions for premium Italian f&b companies and leading coffee brands.

The Trucillo family and the new manager share the geographical origins as well as the same core values.

Since he took over the company from his father Cesare in the early eighties, Matteo Trucillo, has completely transformed a local business from a small town in the south of Italy into a Roaster with high quality coffees appreciated from New York to Dubai.

He has kept the focus on excellent service opening in 1998 the Trucillo Training Academy, the first coffee school in southern Italy, which since its opening has trained over 5,000 professionals.

Together with the new manager the Trucillo family is preparing to define the transition to the third generation: together with Matteo Trucillo and his wife Fausta Colosimo (who also started the export department), the third generation, represented by Antonia, Andrea and Cesare, has already been fully operational in the company for last few years.
