Afsoon Shahvarianian, the driving force behind BUNO, brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to the coffee industry.

“As a woman in the specialty coffee world, I am proud to lead BUNO Coffee Roasters and Café in delivering an exceptional coffee experience that is both technologically advanced and ethically grounded. Our aim is to craft the perfect cup of coffee while paving the way for sustainability and innovation in the industry,” says Afsoon.

Offering a diverse selection of single-origin coffees and specialty blends sourced from the best farms in Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Indonesia, and India, BUNO caters to every palate. Whether it’s coffee beans, grounds, or capsules, customers can choose from different roast levels, intensities, and flavors. Additionally, the café will offer organic options, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable and ethically sourced products.
BUNO’s large factory features not only roasting but also fully automated packaging machinery, serving other coffee roasteries as well as their own needs. “Our location and technology allow us to offer fast delivery across Australia, both for retail and wholesale,” Afsoon adds.

BUNO will host coffee cupping events, offering tours of the roastery, coffee tasting sessions, and a behind-the-scenes look at the roasting process. “We’re excited to share our passion and knowledge with the community,” Afsoon remarks. The grand opening will feature tastings, cupping sessions, a roastery tour, and exclusive offers for early visitors.

BUNO’s commitment to the local culture is evident in its use of Aboriginal art in its packaging, celebrating Australia’s rich heritage. “We want to offer more than just a cup of coffee. We aim to provide an immersive experience that honors where coffee comes from and the land we call home,” says Afsoon.
