MILAN – Coffee exports from Vietnam are expected to fall 1.3% on year during the first eight months of 2020, according to preliminary data released by the General Statistics Office (GSO). Vietnam shipped

Vietnam ‘s coffee exports reached 1.16 million tonnes, or 19.3 million bags, in the Jan – Aug period, reports the GSO. Export earnings were down 0.2% to $1.98 billion.

During the month of August, the world’s largest producer and exporter of Robusta variety has shipped 110,000 tonnes of coffee, worth $197 million.
