African and specialty coffee beans are now available online from Tampa-based Kili Coffee Roasters. The new website offers customers from around the world the opportunity to easily purchase and enjoy fresh, authentic African and specialty coffee beans, all roasted in small batches to ensure freshness and quality.

Sourcing and roasting coffee is nothing new to Kili Coffee Roasters’ co-owners, Rose and her husband Patrick Gachau.

They owned and operated Tampa Bay’s Café Kili coffee shop for seven years where their coffee garnered national praise, including being named one of the ‘Top 10 Coffee Shops in the Nation,’ by The Huffington Post.

“We loved Café Kili and treasured the relationships we developed with our loyal customers,” said Rose. “It has always been a passion of ours to open a distribution company, and we are extremely excited about this new endeavor.”

As the daughter of a Kenyan coffee farmer, Rose has a wealth of knowledge, including the ability to identify a number of coffee bean types and origins simply by sight. Her understanding of coffee and entrepreneurial spirit ensures customers receive freshly roasted, high-quality beans and services.

The online selection of specialty coffee beans includes Kenya AA, Ethiopian Yirgacheff, Sumatra and Tanzanian Peaberry as well as Kili’s signature Special Blend. All are available in 12 ounces as well as one, five and ten pound bags. Larger quantities may be purchased at a wholesale discount.
