MLAN – Starting Wednesday, Starbucks kicked off the search for its first-ever “Global Coffee Creators.” The company is looking for two talented content creators — one current Starbucks partner (employee) and one external candidate — who are passionate about Starbucks, coffee, culture, and community, as well as experts in creating content for social media.
The pair will be expected to travel around the world and film their experiences at 10 to 15 designated Starbucks locations — from Starbucks Hacienda Alsacia coffee farm in Costa Rica to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery Milano and the breathtaking Starbucks coffeehouses in Tokyo.
In addition to being coffee lovers and world travelers, the creators are expected to be proficient in making and editing social media content using tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, CaptureOne, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut.
“The creators will highlight the care and craft that goes into every cup of Starbucks coffee as well as the diverse Starbucks experiences in communities around the world,” the description on the company’s website reads.
These are paid, full-time, 12-month roles, with travel costs for the creator covered, and travel support provided by Delta Air Lines and Marriott Bonvoy.
The company is accepting applications from May 28 through June 13 from U.S. residents who are at least 18 years old.
