OMAHA, Neb., USA – Kelsey Regier, Vice President of App Development at Scooter’s Coffee, was nominated for the 2026 Nebraska Women in Tech Award for her role leading development of the Scooter’s Coffee mobile app.

Her nomination referenced her work to redesign the Scooter’s Coffee mobile app from the ground up without impacting the customer-facing experience.

The project required strong cross-department collaboration within the Scooter’s Coffee Support Center, including the Information Technology, Marketing, and Loyalty teams and third-party support.

Faced with a tight timeline to rebuild the mobile app while maintaining existing functionality, Regier and her collaborators sourced the right technology to power the backend of the Scooter’s Coffee mobile app.

Ultimately, Regier and her team developed a native-built app with new marketing technology built in to enable customer personalization and set the foundation for a revamped loyalty program.

With its expanded opportunities to earn and redeem rewards, the new Scooter’s Coffee Rewards program has led to significant growth in sales, loyalty members, and customer reward redemptions.

Awardees for the 2026 Nebraska Women in Tech Award will be recognized at the 2026 Nebraska Women in Tech Summit hosted by the Aksarben Foundation on March 6, 2026.
