On 9 June 2015 Russian Ambassador to the United Kingdom Alexander Yakovenko met Executive Director of the International Coffee Organization (ICO) Mr Roberio Oliveira Silva (in the picture).
The meeting was focused on the 115th Session of the International Coffee Council (Milano, 28-29 September 2015), Global Coffee Forum at EXPO Milano (30 September – 1 October 2015) and the 4th World Coffee Conference (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 2016).
The Russian Federation became a member of the ICO on April 24, 2015.
Today Russia is the 8th largest coffee consumer in the world.
