MILAN – Rancilio introduces Classe 5 Crono, the evolution of the renowned Classe 5, designed for baristas who demand precision and performance in every cup. The new Classe 5 Crono features a central display above the brewing groups that accurately measures extraction time, taking espresso control to the next level.
Rancilio Classe 5 Crono
The new Classe 5 Crono preserves all the qualities that made Classe 5 USB unique: reliability, thermal stability thanks to Steady Brew technology, and ease of use—enhanced by new innovations that make the barista’s work even simpler.
Steady Brew technology, in particular, keeps water temperature constant during extraction, ensuring thermal stability, reliability, and repeatability at all times—whether during peak hours or at low production intensity.
The machine is available in black and white, with stone gray as an optional finish. It also comes equipped with the C-Lever steam knob and Cool-touch steam wands. Classe 5 Crono is also available in the Eco version, featuring an insulated boiler for increased energy savings and optimized consumption.
Total Extraction Control
Each group is fitted with a shot timer integrated into the digital display. The display features a shot timer designed to show real-time extraction duration. This allows baristas to monitor every extraction and ensure consistency and quality throughout service.
IIn addition to the timer, the display also presents useful information when setting the coffee doses and starting the cleaning cycle.
Steady Brew
The patented Rancilio Steady Brew (SB) technology is the natural evolution of the traditional heat exchanger system, integrating innovative solutions to maximize the performance of single-boiler espresso machines.
By maintaining constant water temperature during extraction, Steady Brew ensures optimal thermal stability, reliability, and repeatability—both at maximum workload and during low-intensity operation.

Available Versions
Classe 5 Crono comes in four versions: 1GR, 2GR, 2GR Compact, and 3GR, to meet different space and service needs. Classe 5 Eco Crono is available in the 2GR Compact version. Both models can be configured with Tall groups for higher cup clearance.
