Olam International prices US$100 million 5-year notes via a private placement

SINGAPORE – Leading global food and agri-business Olam International Limited (“Olam’’) has priced US$100 million 5-year notes due 2026 (the “Notes”) via a private placement under Olam’s US$5,000,000,000 Euro Medium Term Note Programme. The Notes will be issued on March 31, 2021 at a fixed coupon of 3.25% payable semi-annually in arrears. Scotiabank acted as the sole manager for this transaction.

Proceeds from Notes will be used by Olam and its subsidiaries (the “Group”) for working capital purposes and general corporate purposes, including financing capital expenditure and potential acquisition opportunities which the Group may pursue in the future as part of its strategic objectives.
