GANDERKESEE, Germany – A passion for perfectly roasted coffee and decades of expertise in hot air roasting technology have gone into the development of the NEOROAST roaster series. At this year’s HostMilano in Milan, Neuhaus Neotec will present the NEOROAST 60, which closes the gap between the smaller NEOROAST 15 and 30 versions and the GOURMET large roaster series.
With a capacity of up to 480 kg/h and a batch size of up to 60 kg – the amount of a standard coffee sack – the NEOROAST 60 allows growth-oriented roasters to achieve a daily production volume that is geared towards long-term business development. The batch size is very flexible, ranging from 20 to 60 kg, so that the roaster can be operated profitably at well below its maximum capacity with high energy efficiency.
To make it easier for its customers to move towards climate-friendly coffee production, the NEOROAST can be operated not only with all commercially available types of gas, but also with hydrogen or electrical energy. The NEOROAST 60, which will be on display in Hall 18, Booth D31, is equipped with an electric burner. Interested visitors can learn about the roasting technology of the future directly on site from the specialists at Neuhaus Neotec.
Premiere at host: virtual training with complete machine simulation
Neuhaus Neotec will be presenting a new software product for the first time at the trade fair, which will enable roaster operators and machine personnel to be trained completely virtually in the operation of large roasting plants and the monitoring of roasting processes. The simulation software depicts both the normal operation of the roaster and can also simulate a wide variety of critical situations in which the operator is required to make quick and correct decisions. The software thus increases the safety of roasting processes and promotes the process understanding of personnel in all situations. This software is just one of many components at Neuhaus Neotec, where the possibilities of AI, comprehensive virtual process simulation, and the latest analysis data management are increasingly coming into play.
Roasting with insight
The SHOPROASTER from Neuhaus Neotec is ideal for small-scale production and specialty roasting. The glass-fronted plug-and-play roasting system is an attraction in any roastery or coffee-oriented restaurant, as the entire roasting process can be observed – from filling the beans to roasting and cooling.
It is characterized by its high flexibility and ease of use and requires nothing more than a power outlet to operate.
COLORTEST III
Neuhaus Neotec is presenting the latest version of its well-known COLORTEST colorimeter in Milan for determining the color value of powdery and granular products. Thanks to its robust design and ease of use, the COLORTEST colorimeter has now established itself as one of the standard measuring devices for determining the color value of coffee. The device impresses with its precise and reproducible measurement results. The latest generation COLORTEST III is equipped with a touch panel, auto-calibration, and a complete sample preparation set.
