ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands – Louis Dreyfus Company B.V. (LDC) is deeply saddened to announce that Patrick Treuer, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), passed away unexpectedly overnight.

Since joining the Group in 2014, Patrick Treuer contributed actively and significantly to the Group’s growth trajectory through his strategic vision and financial expertise, and will be greatly missed.

The Group’s Board members, Executive Group and employees extend their deep and heartfelt condolences to Mr. Treuer’s family and loved ones in this difficult time.

Arrangements regarding Mr. Treuer’s successor as Group CFO will be announced in due course.
