MILAN – In response to the current global health emergency in the United States, Lavazza has come forward to contribute something valuable to boost people at work. Italy’s largest coffee roaster will donate over 50,000 bags of coffee along with the brewing machines to health workers and other first responders in New York City and Los Angeles.

The brand has partnered with number of organisations like New York Health + Hospitals, Morrison Healthcare, UCLA Health, Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department to deliver coffee to hospitals, fire departments and police departments in New York and Los Angeles, California.

Among the hospitals receiving shipments are some of New York City’s most-impacted, including Elmhurst Medical Center and NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.

Lavazza has also “pledged to allocate 10 million euros ($11 million) for projects to support healthcare, schools and the needy in the Piedmont region,” the company added. Additionally, they have made donations in other cities, including Boston, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.
