Host 2023 will also be an opportunity to take a closer look at Julius Meinl’s newest blends The Originals, inspired by the close connection between Vienna’s heritage and nature. The new Premium products, have a double certificate: they are both BIO – which implies that every coffee bean is grown through responsible organic agricultural processes, and Fairtrade – which means that local farmers receive fair compensation.

Belvedere Blend inspired by the Belvedere World Heritage Museum, located next to one of Europe’s most historically significant French-style gardens, brings together 100% Arabica beans from Nicaragua & Honduras as the finest origins, to create a toffee sweetness, which perfectly complements the hazelnut base.

Gloriette Gold celebrates the Gloriette, a monumental Baroque building dating back to 1775, in the park of Schönbrunn Palace, which offers a unique view of the city and the surrounding Vienna Woods. The blend evokes an image of the Vienna patisserie with its cacao-dusted desserts and sugar-glazed pastries.

Finally, Danube Delight, a rich and intense blend, balanced by notes of dark chocolate with hints of nutmeg and a touch of black pepper, dedicated to the Danube River that flows through the city of Vienna.
