Nuova Simonelli has had the honour of hosting, in Italy, the World Competition Education Program (WCEP), initiated by the WCE Commission to provide in-depth instruction about world competitions.
The WCEP is specifically focused on Competitions Training, to improve the understanding of this and includes reviewing current rules and regulations, competition procedures, judging skills, and how competitions are judged.
These special courses are also geared toward developing the competencies tested in the Judge Certification, which is a partner program. The WCEP focuses on the skills required of a world class judge, helping participants to acquire the knowledge needed to correctly judge the performances of baristas at the World Barista Championships.
