MILAN – Premiums for Indonesian Robusta compared to global prices eased this week in expectation of increased supply from the early harvest of 2016. About 150 tonnes of fresh beans are coming out of the harvest in Indonesia, though bean quality is still poor, said a Bandar Lampung-based trader quoted by Reuters.
Harvesting operations begin are set to begin on large scale next month and end in August.
