ZURICH, Switzerland, TRIESTE, Italy – illycaffè and Migros are bringing the sustainable CoffeeB system to Italy. The innovative system is now available in the illy online shop and in selected illy stores in Italy.
The launch of CoffeeB in Italy marks a further step forwards in the partnership between Migros and Illy, the leading Italian supplier of sustainable, high-quality coffee.

CoffeeB combines patented brewing technology with fully compostable coffee balls made from freshly roasted coffee in response to the growing demand for environmentally friendly coffee systems.
“Coffee culture has deep roots in Italian society. We are delighted that illycaffè is now offering CoffeeB in this important market,” says Matthias Wunderlin, Head of Migros Industrie.
CoffeeB is already available in Germany and France. In other parts of the world, Migros relies on licensees such as Keurig Dr Pepper. The coffee giant has licensed the CoffeeB brewing technology for the US, Canadian and Mexican markets.
CoffeeB is now available in selected illycaffè stores in Italy and online.
