Ico calls on global coffee community to support earthquake victims in Ecuador

The Executive Director of the International Coffee Organization conveyed his sincere condolences to the Government of Ecuador and its people following the devastation left behind by the earthquake that hit the country on 16 April 2016. Hundreds of people have died and thousands remain injured in the six affected provinces.

Hundreds of Ecuadorian students in the United Kingdom, with the support of the Ecuadorian Embassy, have come together to raise funds for their country as it faces this arduous humanitarian challenge.

The Embassy requests the support of the global coffee community to help contribute to the cause, #FuerzaEcuador.
