STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Fazer ’s artisan bakery Gateau has opened two cafés at Arlanda Airport, one located in terminal 2 and the other in terminal 5. The newly opened Gateau cafés provide a holistic experience, encompassing a warm and inviting environment, personal service, and a delectable assortment of sandwiches, light lunches, freshly baked bread and pastries as well as fresh coffee.
In the end of 2023 and in the beginning of 2024, Fazer opens four Gateau cafés across Arlanda Airport in partnership with SSP Group, a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations. The two first cafés have just opened their doors in terminal 2 and terminal 5. Soon, Gateau can also be found in Sky City and at the Marketplace.

The assortment of the Gateau cafés at Arlanda consists of bread and pastries hand-baked by Gateau’s talented artisan bakers, Gateau’s own coffee and a limited range of fresh sandwiches and salads. Travellers can either dine on-site or buy the delicacies as take-away. Gateau’s opening hours are from 5 a.m. until 9 p.m., in Terminal 5 until 10 p.m.
Gateau is an artisan bakery from Stockholm with ancestry from 1937. We bake our bread according to traditional French recipes with sourdough, just like our role model Poilâne in Paris. Gateau has 36 outlets in Sweden, located in Stockholm, Uppsala and Skåne. In Finland the number of Gateau bakery shops is 14. Gateau is part of Fazer since 2011.
