COLOGNE, Germany – A new highlight for all coffee fans: yesterday (Monday, 15 December), the German coffee house chain Coffee Fellows opened its first branch at Cologne Bonn Airport. In addition to various coffee specialities in a high-quality and cosy atmosphere, Coffee Fellows, located in the public area of Terminal 1, also offers hearty snacks, in particular bagels with a variety of fillings. Coffee Fellows thus further enriches the gastronomic offerings at the airport.

‘We are delighted that we have been able to attract a well-known and popular brand such as Coffee Fellows to our location.

A coffee house branch like this is a great addition to our new, diverse gastronomic landscape, which we have comprehensively modernised and upgraded in recent months,’ says Thilo Schmid, CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH.

Stefan Tewes, founder and managing director of Coffee Fellows: ‘The expansion in Cologne/Bonn is an important step for our brand development. Airports are premium locations for us: they offer us the opportunity to reach thousands of national and international guests every day and to present our brand where mobility, quality and comfort come together.’

The Cologne/Bonn location complements the existing Coffee Fellows network in city centres, railway stations, motorway service stations and airports.
