The Ermes Dual is designed for both espresso and filter extractions and features 75mm vertical flat burrs for precision and speed. With the ability to switch effortlessly between single-shot and on-demand modes, it’s an adaptable and consistent solution for mid- to high-volume coffee environments.

LaCimbali, together with partner Coffeeworks, will sponsor the finals of the ES-Yen Championship, a signature event celebrating Thailand’s beloved ES-Yen (เอสเย็น). To make the drink, the Thai-style iced coffee, the competitors will use dark roasted coffee beans, ice and sweetened condensed milk. The participants can add other ingredients to enhance the flavor, but the main flavor profile should be strong, sweet and exciting.

For the competition, Cimbali Group is providing the LaCimbali M40 espresso machine and G50 grinder. The M40 is designed for high-volume environments and excels in preparing milk-based drinks like ES-Yen, thanks to its advanced thermal system, energy-saving features, and Bluetooth-enabled grinder integration via PGS technology for consistent cup quality.

Millie Chan, Regional Director, Asia & Pacific, Cimbali Group, commented: “We are delighted to join Thailand Coffee Fest for the very first time, especially as the event continues to grow as a regional and global coffee destination. Supporting local coffee culture while showcasing our latest technologies is central to our mission in APAC. From the powerful M40 to the versatile Ermes Dual, our machines are designed to adapt to the unique flavours, rituals and expectations of each market.”

Cimbali Group’s participation at Thailand Coffee Fest 2024 marks a significant step in its regional engagement, combining advanced technology with a genuine respect for local coffee identity. From specialty cafes to cultural icons like ES-Yen, the Group continues to be a trusted partner for professionals across the global coffee community.

About Cimbali Group

Cimbali Group is one of the leading manufacturers of professional coffee and milk-based beverage machines and cafe equipment. The Group, which includes the brands LaCimbali, Faema, Slayer, and Casadio, operates through three production facilities in Italy and one in the United States (in Seattle, where Slayer-branded machines are manufactured), employing approximately 850 people in total.

In 2019, with the acquisition of Keber, a leading brand for the production of professional steel grinders for the coffee industry based in Dolo (Venice), the Group’s manufacturing sites increased to five.

The Group’s commitment to spreading the culture of espresso coffee and enhancing the local area led to the establishment in 2012 of MUMAC – the Coffee Machine Museum, the first and largest permanent exhibition dedicated to the history, world, and culture of espresso machines, located within the Cimbali Group headquarters in Binasco. MUMAC houses MUMAC Academy, Cimbali Group’s coffee machine academy, a center for training, outreach, and research.
