MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada – The Second Cup Coffee Company prepares to show its Canadian spirit as it gears up to celebrate the country’s 149th Birthday on July 1st, 2016 at Canada House and host fun family-friendly events in its cafes across the UK.
All Second Cup cafes, globally and in the UK, will be celebrating with festive décor and giving away free Brewed Coffee to guests. hosting Canada- themed activities including trivia games for adults as well as fun arts and crafts activities for kids.
The cafes will also be promoting Canada’s renowned Maple syrup – by sampling Maple Frozzzen Hot Chocolate to all of the guests.
Canada House, home of the Canadian High Commission to the United Kingdom, will be hosting a family-friendly Canada Day celebration in the afternoon featuring engaging activities, Canadian beverages by Second Cup Coffee Company as well as an exciting new exhibit in the Canada Gallery, called “Eyes on the Universe” built by Science North in conjunction with SNOLAB. Canada’s latest Nobel winner, Dr. Art McDonald, as well as High Commissioner Gordon Campbell will be attending the exciting celebration.
