Café Picoro announces new corporate partnership program to elevate its coffee experience

BROOKLYN, NY, U.S. – Café Picoro is announcing a corporate partnership program with restaurants, hotels, and businesses. Café Picoro is already available for individual retail sale at and in supermarkets, grocery stores, and gourmet stores in the tri-state area. Café Picoro’s operator, Gregory Dominguez, says the goal of the corporate partnership program is to either elevate an existing coffee program or build a new, exceptional coffee program that aligns with the partner’s business and needs and service model.

Dominguez says the Picoro family has been in the coffee business since 1945. “This is a legacy,” he says, “The name of the brand is the nickname of my grandfather, who passed away in 2017.”

Pascual “Picoro” Dominguez opened his coffee merchant business in Santiago, Dominican Republic after end of WWII in 1945. Rationing during the war had left people thirsty for real coffee. Picoro built a reputation for his unique talent when it came to picking exquisite raw coffee beans. He dedicated his life to discovering exceptional coffee, making remarkable coffee available to his clientele.

For the Dominguez family, coffee truly became a way of life. Picoro passed the virtue of hard work and passion for coffee on to his children. The art of identifying unique flavors and aromas from all over the world, lays the foundation of the blends and single origins.


Gregory Dominguez, Picoro’s grandson, says people in the United States are used to drinking average coffee – or worse yet, instant coffee. But Café Picoro is an elite brand. “We source the best of the best grains from around the globe,” he says, “Our coffee is freshly roasted in Brooklyn every week in small batches, so people drink a better coffee, with a great aroma and unparalleled taste.” Dominguez says people will taste the passion that went in to making Café Picoro.
