ABERDEEN, UK – Aberdeen-based Caber Coffee has unveiled the latest phase of its ongoing drive to support fellow hospitality businesses navigate ongoing economic challenges. Following last year’s bold decision to stir things up and pass on decreases in wholesale prices across a range of products and consumables, the family-run business has just announced its new project to match online pricing with a “stripped back” offering.

The new “Semplice” coffee blend offers a no-frills addition to the portfolio which allows customers to access beans only, without any add-on services.

Simultaneously, a new Perkolator scheme will heavily discount key lines for regular customers who have Caber Coffee equipment and products in their premises by rewarding loyalty with rewards such as heavily discounted servicing, free filter changes and refresher barista and maintenance training.

Caber Coffee Managing Director Findlay Leask explained: “We have always worked hard to deliver outstanding service levels and fair pricing, and these latest developments are a natural evolution of that. It is a way of saying a crucial thank you to those who allow us to benefit from their continuing support of our business while we, in turn, support our customers.

“On the flip side, for those who are looking for a great coffee bean at a bargain price point, Semplice has been launched to help price-sensitive customers to source locally rather than on-line or via their cash and carry.”

He added: “We are acutely aware of the importance of the two-way relationship we enjoy with our customers, and we hope these new offerings will go some way to acknowledging what we have built together during the past 36 years.”

Family run Caber Coffee is a leading, independent wholesale company which is renowned for supplying quality ground coffee, beans, teas, vending ingredients and a range of quality, easy to use and reliable coffee machines, espresso makers and hot beverage equipment.

The company currently employs 10 people and works with clients in a range of sectors including contract catering and hospitality.
