CHICAGO, IL, U.S. – MPE announces Black Ice Deflectors available on IMD Series Granulizers.
Their function is to make sure oily and static-charged ground coffee flows consistently inside the grinder for better particle uniformity and achieving a better quality ground coffee product.
Other manufacturers use mechanical scrapers and chains that sweep inside the grinder to remove accumulated grinds, but MPE’s Black Ice Deflectors with its Black Ice coating ensure coffee never sticks to the internal surfaces in the first place, yielding the best tasting coffee product possible.
