Abu Dhabi’s Al Forsan Village Town Square opens three new cafés

ABU DHABI, UAE – The Al Forsan Village Town Square in Abu Dhabi, UAE has now created a destination for food and coffee enthusiasts as it has opened three different cafés namely Illy Café, Coffee Club, Street 9 Café and Oregano restaurant.

According to Euromonitor International report, there are more than 4,000 tea and coffee houses in the nation and 20 per cent of the adult residents drink coffee daily.

Rashed Al Qubaisi, general manager, Al Forsan Holding said, “The rising food and coffee culture has well-penetrated parts of our city and is visible in our community of Al Forsan Village in Khalifa City.

The presence and popularity of these restaurants in the Town Square is a standing testament to the fact. We are pleased to offer our food and coffee enthusiasts their daily requirements of beverages coupled with a selection of some great cuisine through these specialised avenues.”

The café industry was estimated to value around $375 million. The growth over the next 5 years was expected to be around 35 per cent. In a saturated F&B market, the issuance of thousands of new café licenses speaks towards the popularity of the food and beverages industry.

The Town Square hosts a range of upscale retail outlets as well as an exquisite collection of dining venues and pavement cafés. With its atmosphere reminiscent of a bustling Mediterranean town, it is designed to be the focal point of the Al Forsan Village community. Besides these food outlets, Reem Al Bawadi is also slated to open soon.

The other brands at the Town Square include Spinneys Hypermarket, Holland & Barrett, Al Manara Pharmacy, JustKidding, Grand Optics, Dantel& More, Physiomins, Tilia Flowers, Champion Cleaners, B&Y Electronics and Cheeky Monkeys. Other utility service providers including an Etisalat kiosk is also open. Al Forsan Village is Abu Dhabi’s first active health-focused mixed-use development.
