According to sources, Costa Coffee India has appointed Vikram Varma as the Head of Marketing. This was confirmed by Santosh Unni, CEO, Costa Coffee India. Varma’s appointment is an internal move but before associating with Costa India he was heading marketing for KFC Nigeria for over three years.

Varma’s past experiences suggest, he can add value in the digital media space through his understanding of youth. Nigerian QSR market space is dominated by local brands and his expertise in expanding an international brand in a developing market, can be an aid if Costa Coffee India is eyeing to spread the chain in the tier 2 towns of India.
