MILAN, Italy – The World Of Coffee 2017 has been a great success for Edo Barista team. They took part at SCA Best New Product Award 2017 with the innovative Foam Locus, new entry in Edo Barista Catalogue, which was awarded with the prize as Best product of the ‘Commercial coffee preparation and serving equipment’ category.

SCA awards are conferred every year during the World of Coffee and these prizes shine a spotlight on the most exciting innovations to be launched in the marketplace.

The Foam Locus, invented by Tjeerd Schravendeel, has been evaluated by a panel of SCA experts as “a fantastic tool, absolutely useful for all kind of baristas, from professionals to less experienced ones. A real revolution in the cappuccino world”.

From today, thanks to Foam Locus, creating foamed milk with the compact and silky texture people love, will not be a problem. Throughout the WOC Edo Barista team had the opportunity to explain and show how Foam Locus works, and everyone was excited about the result.

The World Of Coffee is a special event in the European coffee agenda. More than 200 expositors took part and every day a lot of visitors crowded the Hungexpo pavilions. Moreover, World championship, seminars and workshops made the fair more and more interesting.

A crowded venue of baristas is the perfect place for EdoBarista team, which aims to work side by side with baristas and create a community, share ideas and work to create a wider and wider range of useful tools for everyday work.
