MILAN – Coffee exports from Brazil fell by 10.9 percent on year in June to 2,381,692 60-kg bags, according figures released on Wednesday by the Brazilian Coffee Exporter Council, or Cecafé.
The drop was more pronounced for green coffee exports, which fell by 11.7 percent due to a sharp decrease in Robusta shipments (-79.5%), while Arabica sales were up 2.6 percent to nearly 2 million bags.
Exports of processed coffee (soluble and R&G) were also down 5.6 percent to 313,405.
