MILAN – Asia once again confirms itself as a hub of gastronomic experimentation with the new Kopi-zza, a coffee-flavored pizza launched by Pizza Hut exclusively for Brunei. The name comes from “Kopi,” which means coffee in Malay, the country’s official language.
But what exactly is Kopi-zza? It features the classic cheese-rich base that has made Pizza Hut one of the most famous and popular chains abroad, enhanced with aromatic coffee notes.
A bold contrast that has managed to win over consumers.
Initially, Kopi-zza was conceived as a limited edition available for just two weeks.
Given the success of the initiative, the company decided to extend its availability.
For now, the coffee pizza will remain an exclusive to Brunei. However, some customers still hope that the product may one day make its way to the Western world.
