Cimbali Group aims to act as a trusted partner for every horeca segment, offering not just products but tailored solutions for independent cafés, hotel groups, quick service restaurants and international chains, supported by comprehensive after-sales service and end-to-end support.

Segment-specific solutions across the brand portfolio

Through its portfolio of brands, LaCimbali, Faema, Casadio and Slayer, Cimbali Group addresses the diverse needs of the hospitality market.

• LaCimbali focuses on coffee chains and QSR operators, combining speed, consistency and integration with digital systems such as POS and drive-through, ensuring premium quality in every cup and simplified operation even in high-turnover environments;

• Faema is dedicated to hotellerie, independent cafés and bakery concepts, where the coffee experience plays an important role in customer engagement. Faema’s range combines craftsmanship, design and performance, from super-automatic breakfast solutions to iconic traditional machines that enhance front-of-house experiences.

This segment-driven strategy allows the Group to deliver targeted, specialised solutions, adapted to different operational contexts.

LaCimbali SUPERA: born to surpass limits

At the heart of this year’s showcase is LaCimbali SUPERA, a new modular platform designed to redefine flexibility, automation and in-cup quality. Drawing on over a century of espresso machine expertise, LaCimbali brings its heritage of technological innovation to the fully automatic segment.

The machine can be configured based on volume, service type and operating context, from QSR to hotellerie, coffee chains and convenience stores. SUPERA will debut at Host in two versions, Senso and Dolcevita, offering operators new levels of personalisation and performance.

Innovation and sustainability with M40

Another highlight of HostMilano 2025 is the renewed LaCimbali M40, which integrates advanced energy-saving technologies and next-generation thermal systems to deliver outstanding performance with minimal environmental impact.

The new thermal platform offers high temperature stability, powerful steam delivery and faster heat-up times, cutting energy consumption by up to 50% in ready-to-use mode. Smart features like the Perfect Grinding System and Barista Drive System further enhance consistency and workflow efficiency.

Grinding that makes the difference

Cimbali Group is also spotlighting the strategic role of grinding in defining flavour and quality. Keber, part of the Group since 2019, is a reference point in the production of precision burrs, designed to achieve specific sensory outcomes, from sweetness and acidity to complex aromatic profiles.

Their craftsmanship is at the core of Casadio Ermes Dual, the latest grinder in the portfolio. Ermes Dual offers both single-shot and on-demand functionality, delivering quality, versatility and precision for contemporary baristas. It is optimised for both espresso and filter brewing methods, enabling operators to diversify their offer with ease.

Aftersales and service innovation

Cimbali Group’s new organisational model goes beyond product innovation. With TechMate AI, an intelligent assistant integrated into the SQUARE portal, the company is redefining technical support.

Designed to address high technician turnover and machine complexity, TechMate AI provides real-time guidance through natural-language chat, enriched with videos, diagrams and best practices. This tool, together with predictive maintenance programmes and dedicated spare parts kits, ensures consistent machine performance and cost transparency over time.

MUMAC and MUMAC Academy at HostMilano

MUMAC Academy, Cimbali Group’s Coffee Machine Academy, plays a key role at HostMilano with a dedicated space for workshops, hands-on demos and talks exploring technology, sensory experiences and the latest coffee trends.

Designed as a bridge between technical expertise, sales teams and operators, the Academy reflects the Group’s commitment to supporting partners through knowledge sharing and skill development.

Highlights include interactive sessions on grinding in partnership with Keber, the role of water in coffee quality, and emerging beverage trends such as plant-based drinks and matcha. Visitors are also able to experience Slayer Espresso in a custom design by Specht Design, an example of how technology, craftsmanship and coffee culture come together.

Alongside the Academy, MUMAC, the Group’s Coffee Machine Museum, celebrates over a century of coffee culture and innovation with the presentation of “Faema 80×80”, a commemorative book marking Faema’s 80th anniversary, and the talk “MUMAC: 100+ Years of Heritage and Legacy.”

The museum is also be part of the exhibition “100 Years of Espresso Made in Italy”, curated by Fiera Milano, showcasing some of the most iconic machines in espresso history.

With nearly 80,000 visitors since its opening, MUMAC has become an international reference point for coffee professionals, students and design enthusiasts alike. More than a museum, it is a living space of knowledge and culture, embodying the Group’s dedication to preserving espresso heritage while inspiring the next generation of coffee professionals.

About Cimbali Group

Cimbali Group is one of the leading manufacturers of professional coffee and milk-based beverage machines and cafe equipment. The Group, which includes the brands LaCimbali, Faema, Slayer, and Casadio, operates through three production facilities in Italy and one in the United States (in Seattle, where Slayer-branded machines are manufactured), employing approximately 850 people in total. In 2019, with the acquisition of Keber, a leading brand for the production of professional steel grinders for the coffee industry based in Dolo (Venice), the Group’s manufacturing sites increased to five.

The Group’s commitment to spreading the culture of espresso coffee and enhancing the local area led to the establishment in 2012 of MUMAC – the Coffee Machine Museum, the first and largest permanent exhibition dedicated to the history, world, and culture of espresso machines, located within the Cimbali Group headquarters in Binasco. MUMAC houses MUMAC Academy, Cimbali Group’s coffee machine academy, a center for training, outreach, and research.
