US – Saxbys Coffee and LevelUp partner to create innovative mobile payment and reward app

PHILADELPHIA – Saxbys Coffee (Saxbys) has recently launched a mobile payment and rewards app, which can be downloaded for free in both the App Store and Google Play. The Saxbys App allows guests to seamlessly pay for their orders using their smartphone and earn generous rewards for every dollar spent.

Saxbys’ goal was to make it even easier for guests to enjoy their visits. Now, guests can spend more time relaxing in the café and less time waiting in line—guests simply link their debit or credit card to their Saxbys App account and scan their unique QR code to pay for their order at Saxbys.

The app also includes a built-in rewards program which allows guests to earn $2 for every $20 spent. Guests will also receive $3 just for downloading the app and $3 every time they invite a friend to do the same.

Unlike other rewards programs, all purchases—not just select items—count toward a free credit, and the credit can be used toward anything in the café. Drinks, food, coffee beans and mugs are all fair game.

As opposed to a standard punch card, this rewards program has an interactive appeal—with every transaction, guests get closer to filling a virtual iced latte cup.  The cup fills with ice, then espresso. Those who unlock the $2 credit get to discover what happens next.

Saxbys’ decision to build their app on the LevelUp mobile payment platform means that payments are processed seamlessly and securely. Guests can rest assured that their personal information will not be stored or shared, and an optional pin-lock acts as an added layer of security in the event that your phone is lost or stolen.

Both Saxbys and LevelUp are thrilled with the immediate success of the app, which already boasts four stars in the App Store.
