The latest addition to the Central Perk coffee shop franchise – based on the coffee shop featured on popular US sitcom Friends – has recently opened in Liverpool. Located on Bold Street, this is the brand’s third store in the UK, as well as the second Liverpool site, the first one having opened in Hatton Garden in 2012.
The Hatton Garden venue expanded to double its original size after just 12 months to meet demand.
Central Perk venues are based on the famous Manhattan coffee shop where the six Friends characters – Chandler, Joey, Monica, Phoebe, Rachel and Ross – would often meet.
The brand is owned and operated in association with Warner Bros and under its licence for the UK and Northern Ireland.
