NEW YORK CITY – Coffee Fest NY 2014 marks Coffee Fest’s 70th show and its first sold-out Coffee Fest since 2008. This show has been on the minds of many this year and the numbers prove it.

Vendor space at the Jacob Javits Center is full; however, there will be two more shows for 2014. Vendors are currently being accepted at the St. Louis, MO, Coffee Fest taking place on May 30 through June 1 and Coffee Fest Portland, OR, on October 17 through 19 this year. Coffee Fest has also confirmed its show for 2015 in Atlanta, GA, on Feb. 6 through the 8 at the Cobb Galleria Centre.

The 70th Coffee Fest, trade shows for specialty coffee since 1992, is coming to New York City at the Jacob Javits Center on March 7-9, 2014. The Coffee Fest show will have over 200 exhibition booths and 80 workshops.

David Heilbrunn, president and show manager of Coffee Fest, said, “We have received an overwhelming response this year from the industry and the press. This year’s Coffee Fest in New York is shaping up to be an impressive event.

Our competitions this year will feature some of the best in the country and our list of presenters has been growing all the time. We are excited to fill out the Jacob Javits Center to bring our guests the very best experience we can offer.”

Coffee Fest does expect other 2014 locations to fill to capacity and encourages potential vendors to register early. In addition to the three U.S. locations, they will also be hosting an event in Tokyo, Japan, later this year.

Along with the numerous exceptional presenters who will be attending, there are also three must-see competitions: the Latte Art Championship, DaVinci Gourmet America’s Best Coffeehouse Competition, and the Best Espresso Competition.

Coffee Fest has been celebrating coffee long before coffee was “hot.”

In 1992, it gathered coffee professionals together in Seattle for their first coffee festival. After several years of hosting thriving consumer events, Coffee Fest turned its focus toward the specialty coffee, gourmet tea and alternative beverage industry bringing retailers, distributors and manufacturers together for its first retail “trade only show” in 1998.

With a mission to help attendees build and refine their specialty coffee businesses, they coupled a relevant educational program with a friendly, informative, and enjoyable trade show floor creating a successful show that serves as a touchstone for many in the specialty coffee industry.

Today, Coffee Fest produces three trade shows annually, strategically positioned in New York City, St. Louis and Portland. Coffee Fest remains the industry’s top-performing show, consistently providing retailers with relevant information to hone their business skills and up their bottom line and manufacturers and service companies the face-to-face opportunities to build their businesses.
