HOUSTON, TX, USA – Tom N Toms Coffee, the internationally recognized Korean cafe brand with over 400 locations worldwide, is opening its first-ever corporate-owned U.S. store in Houston’s Spring Branch neighborhood. The new location at 4145 Gessner Rd will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, May 30th and Saturday, May 31st.

This flagship store introduces an expanded menu, a full commercial kitchen, and a drive-thru, making it one of the most versatile cafe formats in the Tom N Toms portfolio. The location will also feature Egg Box, a new food program offering premium Korean-style egg sandwiches made fresh in-house.

In a major operational move, Tom N Toms has also relocated its U.S. coffee roasting operations from Los Angeles to Houston, aiming to improve freshness and supply chain efficiency across the U.S. franchise system.

“We’re combining Korean cafe culture with American drive-thru convenience and Houston’s appetite for quality,” said David Kim, Chief Operating Officer of Tom N Toms America. “As someone who grew up right here in Spring Branch, this store is especially meaningful to me. I’m excited to bring something fresh and community-focused to the neighborhood that shaped me.”

“Relocating our roasting operation from LA to Houston was a strategic move,” Kim continued. “We’re now roasting single-origin beans from Colombia right here in Texas. That gives us tighter control over freshness and lets our customers taste the quality in every cup.”

“Egg Box is another big part of that experience. These aren’t your average breakfast sandwiches – we’re using premium ingredients and Korean flavor inspiration to deliver something hot, satisfying, and actually crave-worthy. It’s fast food that doesn’t feel like a compromise.”
