VASCON DI CARBONERA, Italy – Sanremo returns to the spotlight at the London Coffee Festival – one of the most anticipated international events for coffee lovers. At Stand G02, the Italian brand will host the London edition of the acclaimed D8 Cup, a thrilling competition that’s already made waves in Athens, Cape Town, Melbourne, Houston, Hamburg, and Mexico City.

With signups already pouring in, the London challenge promises to be one of the most exciting yet.
The D8 Cup offers a unique chance for coffee professionals and enthusiasts to put their skills to the test. Each competitor has 10 minutes to craft their best espresso using the D8, and then repeat the extraction five more times – without data or assistance, relying solely on instinct, technique, and consistency.
Thanks to the integrated IoT technology, each performance is monitored in real time, ensuring a fair and transparent competition. The top barista will take home a D8 – Sanremo’s symbol of precision and versatility.

Throughout the festival, 26 invited roasters from around the world will showcase their finest coffees, creating an unforgettable atmosphere while working on a rotating selection of Sanremo’s most iconic machines: from the high-performance Café Racer to the F18 (including the SB version), the compact YOU, the stylish CUBE,
and of course, the advanced D8 Pro.
Two action-packed days where Sanremo technology meets the creativity and passion of baristas and roasters, in a celebration of innovation and the ever-evolving
world of specialty coffee.
