EMMERICH, Germany – The PROBAT Group, a leading full-solution provider in the food processing sector, has announced the consolidation of its US operations into a centralized site in Dallas, Texas. This move is part of a broader initiative to enhance efficiency and foster collaboration within the group. It supports PROBAT’s long-term strategy and highlights its commitment to operational excellence and innovation across different sectors.

The new site will bring together teams that were previously based at PROBAT, Inc.’s Lincolnshire location in Illinois, Bauermeister USA’s Memphis location in Tennessee, and AC Horn’s Dallas location, creating a unified hub for innovation, production, and customer engagement.

“Operational excellence lies at the heart of our corporate strategy, motivating us to enhance customer satisfaction and improve our processes continuously,” explains Wim Abbing, PROBAT’s CEO. “Bringing our US locations together is an important step toward increasing efficiency and strengthening our overall performance in the North American market and beyond.”

The relocation of the sites has been carefully planned to ensure the optimal use of existing infrastructure and to leverage the high level of vertical integration at the current AC Horn production facility in Dallas. By housing key functions under one roof, PROBAT aims to improve communication, accelerate decision-making, and strengthen collaboration between its group companies.

Speaking about the company’s approach to the upcoming relocation, Ellen Nielsen, CEO of PROBAT, Inc., states: “We place a strong emphasis on aligning our economic objectives with social responsibility in every initiative. As part of this commitment, all employees were offered individual opportunities to shape their future career paths, based on the roles they previously held within the organization. We are also taking great care to ensure that the transition for everyone is as smooth and seamless as possible.”

Through the unification of operations, streamlined processes, and the strategic utilization of its existing infrastructure in Dallas, PROBAT strengthens its position as a leading provider of future-proof, full-system solutions for customers across North America and around the globe.
