LONDON, UK – Nescafé, the UK’s number one coffee brand, is thrilled to announce it will be coupling up with ITV2 and ITVX’s hit-show, Love Island, as official iced coffee partner for the first time. This collaboration marks a significant step for Nescafé in its brand-building strategy to reach a broader and younger audience. Sales for iced coffee are in double digit growth** and research shows that Gen Z in particular are embracing this trend. In fact, searches for iced coffee on the Nescafé website have increased by 380% on the previous year***.
Nescafé will exclusively stock the Villa with a first-of-its-kind innovation in iced coffee. Thanks to the Nescafé Espresso Concentrated range, cold coffee lovers now have a brand-new way to make their favourite drink and it’s never been easier to enjoy a ‘coffee shop at home’ experience. This summer, Islanders will be able to customise their drinks and enjoy iced coffees exactly the way they like them.
This collaboration is in addition to the announcement of a global partnership with renowned digital magician and filmmaker, Zach King, who will serve as the brand’s first-ever global influencer. The collaboration resonates perfectly with Nescafé’s vision, particularly among younger consumers aged 18 to 24, through authentic and innovative content, bringing coffee into the realm of digital storytelling.
Nescafé Espresso Concentrated has been developed by Nestlé’s R&D teams and builds on the company’s long held expertise in coffee roasting and brewing technologies. You can expect to see three delicious flavours: Vanilla, Caramel and Classic, gracing the Villa kitchen this series.
