BERLIN, Germany — Berlin is a city full of inspiration: The WOC 2019 is an occasion for coffee lovers to taste and enjoy all types of coffee from the best roasters and coffee experts worldwide. Their passion and experience educate and motivate professionals to reach their desired goals and increase their knowledge.

During the expo, the Victoria Arduino Berlin showroom will be open and at disposal for all venturers. It will be an occasion to share ideas, information and experience. On the 5th of June at 5:00 pm, they will host Square Mile Coffee Roasters for an interesting lecture on “green coffee” and its buying aspects. A coffee cupping demonstration will follow.

How does the green coffee market impact the exporting countries and their producers? How do you balance supply and demand while maintaining a correct and stable partnership considering cupping excellence? These, and many other questions will be answered by Tom Flawith during the lecture. He will also discuss different topics such as efficient purchasing techniques for Kenya and talk about the start-up of a new project that aims to expand knowledge about the industry and the consumer regarding their purchasing practices.

In a multicultural and continually expanding market such as the coffee industry, it is important to raise social awareness.

Square Mile is an example; they continuously try to improve social awareness in the coffee community. London based, the company was founded by Anette Moldvaer and James Hoffman in 2008.

Since then, the award-winning roastery commits fully in research and development in order to keep the coffee standards high and the product quality exceptional.
