SINGAPORE – This June, Luckin Coffee is bringing the beach to you. This year, Luckin Coffee stirs up a taste of the tropics with their new blends, reimagining iconic favourites with a sun-soaked twist: the launch of the new Coconut & Jelly Latte on 5 June 2025, plus a wave of surprises — including lucky draws and limited-edition Baby Coconut Keychains.

What began as a single drink has grown into a collection of cult favourites. Four years on, the brand is turning up the tropical vibes with a new flavour that blends the familiar with a touch of fun.

Luckin Coffee signs MoU with Banggai Coconut Island: Bold step towards premium sourcing

In March 2025, Luckin Coffee signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding with the Banggai Islands Regency Government in Indonesia, officially designating the region as the origin of the coconut milk used in its Coconut Blends.

Known for fertile volcanic ash soil and generations of traditional cultivation, the Banggai Islands produce coconuts prized for their natural sweetness, fragrant juice, and mineral-rich flesh.

This partnership is no small deal given how many coconuts Luckin Coffee goes through — over 500,000 coconuts daily, or approximately 200,000 tonnes annually. This makes LUCKIN COFFEE one of the largest beverage brands in China in terms of coconut consumption.

Each premium coconut undergoes a meticulous 9-step, 4-hour freshness-locking process to preserve its flavour and essence, capturing the soul of Southeast Asian coconut groves in every sip.

This partnership forms part of “Luckin Origin”, the brand’s ongoing initiative to build a globally integrated, high-quality supply chain. From coconuts in Indonesia to coffee beans in Brazil and jasmine blossoms in Guangxi, China, Luckin Coffee remains committed to sourcing only the finest ingredients for its drinks.
