Löfbergs appoints Trina Törnqvist as company’s Chief International Business Officer

KARLSTAD, Sweden – Swedish-based coffee roaster Löfbergs has seen strong growth in recent years. To build on this momentum, the company has appointed Trina Törnqvist to the newly created position of Chief International Business Officer. With over 20 years of experience in international business within the coffee industry, Trina will lead a team focused on expanding cross-border contracts and establishing a presence in new markets.

“We see significant potential to grow further by securing larger international contracts and entering new markets. I’m thrilled to welcome Trina Törnqvist, who brings extensive expertise in this area, to lead our efforts,” says Anders Fredriksson, CEO of Löfbergs.

Trina Törnqvist has held several senior positions in the coffee sector since 2004, with a focus on internationalisation. Most recently, she served as Head of International Business Development and Export Manager at Meira/Segafredo. Prior to that, she was responsible for international business development at Paulig.

Founded in 1906 in Karlstad, Sweden, Löfbergs is one of the largest family-owned coffee roasters in the Nordic region. The company began exporting coffee in 1993, and today, every second cup of Löfbergs coffee is sold outside of Sweden. Löfbergs operates its own subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the UK.
