MONTRÉAL, Quebec, Canada – Keurig Canada Inc., doing business as Keurig Dr Pepper Canada (KDP Canada), has announced the official inauguration of its largest coffee-focused distribution centre in the country, located in Beauharnois, Québec. Spanning 602,000 sq. ft., this facility significantly expands KDP Canada’s operational footprint and enhances the company’s distribution capabilities for coffee products, brands, and coffee makers, including e-commerce.
This construction project, launched by developer OleaDev in 2023 with an initial footprint of 421,000 sq. ft., now includes a 181,000 sq. ft. expansion and created 130 indirect jobs at DHL Supply Chain, the contract logistics partner for KDP Canada, managing operations and shipping. This announcement is part of KDP Canada’s overall strategy to support growth and sustainability initiatives, complementing the establishment of another distribution centre in Balzac, Alberta in 2024, as well as its coffee roasting and packaging plant in Saint-Michel, Québec.
Designed with employee comfort in mind, the Beauharnois facility features a bright and welcoming cafeteria and lounge area, enhancing the overall work experience.
Key features of the distribution centre include 40-foot clearance, over 60,000 pallet positions split with between racking positions (one third) and the rest of the building used for bulk storage, 77 loading dock doors, and 75 trailer parking spots. The quality of the building provides the ideal conditions for preserving coffee products and small appliances.
