LAS VEGAS – Kara Water Inc. presented Kara Pod at the CES 2025 International Trade Show in the city of Las Vegas. CES is an event organized by the Consumer Technology Association in the United States since 1967. The manifestation served as the perfect stage for this groundbreaking device.

Kara Pod utilizes water condensed from the air in your home to brew a perfect cup of espresso. Kara Pod is a countertop version of KaraPure 2, a device that condenses atmospheric water and purifies it through a system that includes heat treatment, UV light, and replaceable filters.

It produces up to 10 liters of clean drinking water per day. The company claims the filtered water has an unbeatable pH value of 9.2+, even though there is no solid evidence that drinking alkaline water provides health benefits.

Howard E. LeWine MD, Chief Medical Editor at Harvard Health Publishing, explained, as reported by TechRadar: “Because the fluids in the stomach are so acidic, once regular or alkaline water gets to the stomach, there will be little difference in the resulting gastric fluid pH.”

LeWine added: “You could potentially increase the pH of the gastric fluid by drinking a lot of alkaline water, but it would only be temporary”.
