SPRINGFIELD, IL, USA – IWCA, Internal Women of Coffee Alliance, started 2025 welcoming four new board members, strengthening their vision, and aligning their collective efforts to drive meaningful change. The members are Laura Brown, Anke Erichsen, Mbula Musau and Noelia Villalobos.
Their combined expertise aligns seamlessly with their 5-year Strategic Plan, particularly in: expanding educational opportunities for women at all levels of the coffee industry, strengthening market access and business training for women-owned coffee enterprises and driving global collaboration through industry partnerships and leadership initiatives.
Furthermore, in January, the IWCA Board convened in Guatemala for a pivotal meeting, where they collaborated on strategic plans to strengthen global impact.
There is more: the IWCA Florence Encounter at L’Accademia del Caffè Espresso was a momentous event that brought together leaders from IWCA’s consuming country chapters to strategize, collaborate, and build stronger networks for the future.
On March 7, the IWCA Networking Breakfast is scheduled during NCA 2025 in Houston. This year at the IWCA Networking Breakfast at NCA 2025, IWCA introduces the Threads of Empowerment Quilt Auction—a unique initiative celebrating the strength, artistry, and resilience of women in coffee.
On April 26, Pacita “Chit” Juan, President of the Philippine Coffee Board Inc. and Vice President of the ASEAN Coffee Federation, will be present Houston, Texas, at the IWCA Breakfast. For more info click here.
